He saved Peyton Lockhart’s life when they were kids — but now she’s all grown up and he’s a seasoned FBI agent who comes to her rescue again in the new. When a woman’s dream for the future turns into a nightmare, a handsome FBI agent makes her vulnerable to more than she ever imagined in this novel. I don’t know what it is about Julie Garwood that keeps her at the top of my eagerly awaiting list. Her heroines typically are gorgeous and naïve.

But the best part of Hotshot is the romance between Finn and Peyton. Fans of romance and especially Garwood will find glimpses of her brilliance, but elements julif the suspense, plot and characterization are sprawling, disjointed and disappointing.

Fortunately, the lack of a Renard or Buchanan didn’t alter my enjoyment of the story, it’s just a little confusing. Still, it was a quick and strangely enjoyable read. She gets rid of one of the recipes just based on what Finn says.
Hotshot (Buchanan-Renard #11)
Another win for me from Julie Garwood. All the while this jullie going on someone is still trying to kill Peyton or at the very least scare her to death.
He has some baggage and while frustrating for both Peyton and the reader, the baggage is believable. Anything Julie Garwood is always a winner! Sign up here to receive your FREE alerts. Peyton the heroine was such a lovely character and I was pleased the story ended how it did.
There are countless challenges and too many people who want to stop the sisters from succeeding.
REVIEW: Hotshot by Julie Garwood
She felt realistic, even as some of her individual characteristics did not. That place was way over the top.
There bt no surprise in it and even though it was based on death threat I didn’t feel the thrill. I’m glad I persevered. Julie Garwood is among the most critically acclaimed – and popular – romance authors around, with thirty-six million copies of her books in print. I always enjoy a good old-fashioneded romance, and this book hit it just right for me.
Overall though, this didn’t spoil the story. Barb The Reading Cafe a
