We can do our best to get to know them in the time we have. What I did not like about this book and found to be almost creepy was how the theme of the keys was handled.

Having a daughter who just started middle school, I was excited to read this title but for us, it really missed the mark. View all 11 comments. This book was a quick read, and the writing seemed to be specifically for twelve year olds, unlike some really great junior fiction books.

After an unfortunate incident in the woods, she has become the target for bullying and teasing at her new school, particularly by her locker partner, who finds immense fun in ruining her lunch every day.

I like it because we get a little snatch of summer back over the weekend. This is seriously one of the sweetest books ever and will always be one of my all time favorites.
The main themes in this book are love, family, friendship, and bullying. Buy the selected items together This item: What I did not like about this boo I read this book with my fourth grader. She’s always saying, “it isn’t cool,” and how can she let someone she hates so much like Amanda can make her change so quickly? So while I can look forward to one day having my own locker, I also get to look forward to having really humongous books and backaches from carrying them around.
Once we got on the meys, it was totally larleur usual–just me and Franklin on our own, in our own seat, having our own conversation. She was ladleur with her friend Franklin, her best friend, but as middle school came, everything wasn’t the same between them.

Three stars from me although, for the sake of a complete record, I will note that my fourth grader gave this book five stars in her book review journal. Very thoughtful and super creative and I really enjoyed each new room.
